At breakfast in Leavenworth, I catch Sharon staring longingly at the toy train that circles the dining room. She denies it, but I think she was fantasizing about a nice train ride to our next stop.

Goin' Down to Leavenworth

Thats right, Sharon and I are now behind bars, (bicycle bars) and have been for the last three days. Our sentence will continue for nine more days of hard labor. One of the riders on the tour has a t-shirt that reads "Life Behind Bars." I want one!

Definitely some saddle issues for me today.  the worst spot seems to be off to the right side. I have given my saddle sore a name. "We have crossed the great Misty Moutains together and therefore I shall call you Sting!"

Time To Pay The Ferryman

Should I be nervous that a ferry is how Dante began his adventure? We awoke at the "hellish" hour of 5AM, ate breakfast, and headed to the Mukilteo ferry. After a pleasant ride across Puget Sound to Whidbey Island, I was pleased to discover our destination resembled none of the rings of hell. Read On
